Working with Technologies for the Prevention of Aquatic Ecosystem Damage
Aquatic Research Resources Institute together with Chula Unisearch has worked closely with scientists from Asian universities under the support from SATREPS-JICA, National Research Council of Thailand and UNESCO-IOC/WESTPAC to transfer technologies for monitoring and preventing of damage of marine ecosystems by marine debris. The activities include seminars and workshops related to the conservation and how to use new technologies to assist the prevention of ecosystem damages. In addition, the Thai scientists had hands on experiences on using the drones for detecting the marine litters along the shorelines.
