Quick MBA For SMEs, a project for community that serves to educate SMES to adapt to survive in COVID-19 has received over 100,000 views in 4 different business industries, “Food, Hotels, Health, and Fashion”

The ongoing covid has impacted over 90% of SMEs drastically, many of which has been forced of closed down as they couldn’t carry the cost burden. However, there are still opportunities. Many entrepreneurs started to adapt and re-business their business to survive and thrive in the middle of unpredictable chaos. These entrepreneurs, therefore, came together to share and educate other SMEs owners from their own experience under “Quick MBA for SMEs” for free at Chulalongkorn University, Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy on July-August 2021

Quick MBA for SMEs was created in accordance to  Prof. Bundhit Eua-arporn, Ph.D., President of Chulalongkorn University as a vision of the university for creating “Innovations for Society”

This year, the project has carried out the success by following through the Quick MBA from Home project which was created in 2020 collaboration with 4 leading global universities including, Harvard, Stamford, Cambridge, and Oxford University, during the first wave of COVID-19. The universities has sent professors of various expertees to host online lectures. This event has received tremendous interests with over 400,000 views and over 4,000 shares on facebook

Assoc. Prof. Wilert Puriwat, Ph.D., Dean of Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, Chulalongkorn University and founder of Quick MBA for SMEs has stated that this year’s COVID-19 wave has been more serious. Short and concise educational courses are therefore more vital for SMEs. Quick MBA for SMEs : WeToWe Market Chula is therefore targeted towards SMEs that has been impacted from COVID severely by providing them perspectives of new management methods that could be further apply for survivability under COVID-19, a non-normal situation.
