Chulalongkorn University’s Sustainability Teams

Chulalongkorn University places great importance on and consistently works towards sustainability. This is facilitated through the establishment of 3 operational teams:

1. The University Sustainability Policy Committee, chaired by a Vice President, is responsible for setting guidelines and various measures to efficiently and effectively implement operations conducive to sustainable development for the university.

2. Chulalongkorn University Sustainability Taskforce, led by a Vice President, is tasked with managing, supporting, and driving sustainability initiatives within the university.

3. The Sustainable Development Working Group of Chulalongkorn University, chaired by an Assistant Vice President, is responsible for executing and propelling sustainable development initiatives.

Each of these committees and working groups comprises Vice Presidents, Assistant Vice Presidents, Deans, Directors, Academic staff, and Support staff from relevant units such as the Faculty of Education, Environmental Research Institute, Office of Physical Resources Management, etc. Additionally, the Office of Human Resources Management has launched the Chula SDG: Beyond Leading Change project to instill awareness, develop knowledge, and foster leadership in sustainability among university staff.
