Chulalongkorn University’s Year-Round Public Lifelong Learning Programs (2024–2025)
With a steadfast commitment to being a lifelong learning hub open to the general public, Chulalongkorn University continuously organizes a wide range of free educational events throughout the year. These activities — spanning academic lectures, public talks, hands-on workshops, and cultural learning events — are designed to make knowledge and education accessible to everyone, regardless of race, religion, gender, or physical ability.

Public Lecture: “Adult Learning in Global Change” (February 14, 2024)

Hosted by the Department of Lifelong Education, Faculty of Education, Chulalongkorn University this hybrid public lecture explored the dynamics of non-formal and adult education in a rapidly changing global context. Public Seminar: “Contemporary Security Studies in the 2020s: Perspectives and Paradigm Shifts” (May 23, 2024)

The Contemporary Security Studies Center (CSSC), Institute of Asian Studies, Chulalongkorn University organized this public academic forum to expand understanding of modern security issues at both global and local levels, with particular reference to Thailand’s southern border provinces. “Night Museum at Chula” (December 13–15, 2024)

Under the theme “Science meets Art – Art meets Science”, Chulalongkorn University opened its museums to the public for three nights of immersive learning. The Night Museum at Chula blended science, art, and technology with vibrant light, sound, and interactive exhibitions. Visitors could explore natural history, geology, plant science, and imaging technology through free entry exhibitions, DIY workshops, science demonstrations, art performances, and discussions — co-organized by the Office of Art and Cultural, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, and the Aquatic Resources Research Institute, Chulalongkorn University. Workshop: Basic Pig Farming Training (September 4, 2025)

As part of its outreach through the Center of Learning for the Region, Chulalongkorn University organized a free hands-on training workshop for officers from the Phu Fa Development Center under the Royal Initiative, who are external participants. The training took place on September 4, 2025, at the Lai Nan Research and Technology Transfer Station, Wiang Sa District, Nan Province, free of charge. The workshop provided participants with practical knowledge in livestock management, feed preparation, and disease prevention — supporting community-based agricultural learning in rural highland areas.

Public Lecture: “AI in Higher Education for Innovation in Learning & Research” (September 5, 2025)
