eMpowering Youths Across ASEAN Programme

Chulalongkorn University has been playing a key role since the launch of this program whose original design was formulated by the partnership between ASEAN Foundation and Maybank Foundation.

The program aims to equip and inspire youths from all 10 ASEAN Member States (AMS) to be a positive force for change by providing a platform to learn, contribute, and advocate solutions to developmental issues.

The program seeks to identify 100 entrepreneurial-minded individuals between the ages of 19 to 35 years old from across the ASEAN region to take part in a one-week intensive capacity building workshop and orientation workshops that take place at Chulalongkorn University to receive necessary knowledge and skills to develop and implement impactful community based-programs.

Following the workshops, all youths will be deployed in selected community areas in several countries of Asia for 2 weeks, where they will begin their 1-year journey of creating and implementing initiatives that can give long lasting social and economic impact to the communities.
