Chulalongkorn University Health Service Center launches Safety Love – Safety Sex Clinic to provide advice on obstetrics, gynecology, and sex to Chulalongkorn students and staff. Hope to solve the problem of sexual well-being

Chulalongkorn University by the Health Service Center of Chulalongkorn University (CUCH), a primary care facility caring about the health of Chulalongkorn students and staff. The risk of cervical cancer and sexually transmitted diseases is on an increasing trend among Thai youth aged 15-24 years. Therefore, the project “Safety Love – Safety Sex Clinic” invites students and Chula personnel to all over the university to get advice on obstetrics and gynecology by requesting a preliminary examination for cervical cancer (Pap smear) and referral service for additional testing and receiving specialized drugs at Chulalongkorn Hospital, the Thai Red Cross Society, and The Anonymous clinic of the Thai Red Cross AIDS Research Centre about preventing sexually transmitted diseases, reproductive health problems in adolescents and the use of appropriate medical supplies such as condoms and birth control pills from specialized healthcare professionals

Some people fear that they will develop a sexually transmitted disease from going to pubs and failing to wear condoms, being afraid of HIV infection, asking for the correct method of using condoms and birth control pills in preparation for prevention, using emergency pills. Some people experience itching of the genitals after having sex, irregular menstrual periods, or lack of menstrual periods until they are afraid, they might become pregnant. For interested students and personnel, the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic open every Tuesday and Wednesday, 1st, 3rd, and 5th week of the month from 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. and Chulalongkorn University Health Service Center on service every day from 8:00 am – 3:30 pm (except public holidays and public holidays) or ask for advice via the hotline at 02-218-0568 and 080-441-9041 according to official hours.
